PART 2: SUSPICION AND FRACTURE

Following that explosive confrontation, the relationship between the husband and wife froze completely. The father began noticing strange anomalies around the house. Elena always tried to isolate Chloe from him. She micromanaged everything from the girl's food and drinks to her drawings, constantly claiming that Chloe had psychological issues and needed "strict discipline."

One night, as the father passed by Elena’s study, he caught her whispering into the phone: "She’s starting to remember. We need to increase the dosage. If my husband finds out what the drawing actually depicts, the whole plan ruins."

The father's heart hammered against his ribs. He hurried back to his room and secretly retrieved Chloe's hidden drawing. Under the dim beam of a flashlight, he examined it more closely. Beneath the innocent layer of paper, there seemed to be another sheet glued underneath. Carefully, he peeled it back.

As it turned out, the happy rainbow drawing was just a cover. On the hidden layer beneath, Chloe had drawn a horrifying scene: a man who looked exactly like him lying in a pool of bright red blood, with a woman standing over him holding a vial of poison.
