Part 2: The Truth Revealed

Alexander stopped beside Emily's chair.

He looked at her shaved head.

Then he turned toward Victor.

"Do you have proof she stole anything?" he asked calmly.

Victor smirked.

"I don't need proof. Everyone knows she's guilty."

Alexander raised an eyebrow.

"That's not how justice works."

The room grew tense.

Victor crossed his arms.

"And who exactly are you?"

Instead of answering, Alexander pulled out his phone and made a call.

Less than five minutes later, several black vehicles arrived outside the hotel.

A team of investigators entered the building.

The guests whispered in confusion.

Victor's confidence began to fade.

The investigators accessed security footage from the hotel's cameras.

Everyone gathered around a large screen.

The recording showed the truth.

Emily had never touched the bracelet.

Instead, the footage revealed something shocking.

The real thief was Victor's own assistant, Melissa.

She had stolen the bracelet and hidden it in Victor's office.

The room erupted with gasps.

Victor turned pale.

"That's impossible!"

But the evidence was undeniable.

Melissa broke down and confessed immediately.

She admitted that Victor had pressured her to frame Emily after she rejected his romantic advances.

Now the entire room understood.

Emily had never been a thief.

She had been a victim.

The humiliation, the accusations, and the public punishment had all been based on a lie.

Victor's face lost all color.

Then Alexander finally revealed who he was.

He was the new majority investor who had recently purchased controlling shares of the Ashford Hotel Group.

In other words...

Victor's family no longer controlled the company.

Alexander did.
